DC Recovery ("DC Recovery," "we," "us," or "our") is a massage and recovery bodywork practice owned and operated by Mark De Castro as a sole proprietorship. Sessions take place at a private home studio at 10123 Eddystone Dr, Houston, TX 77043, in the Spring Branch area of Houston. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies to our website, www.dc-recovery.com, our booking process, and our appointment text messages.

Text Messaging (SMS)
If you give us your mobile number and agree to receive texts, we use it to send appointment confirmations, day-before reminders, and replies to your appointment questions from +1 (832) 742-6492. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
Booking and Payments Through Mindbody
We use Mindbody for online booking and payments. When you book or pay through Mindbody, the information you enter, including payment card details, is collected and processed by Mindbody under its own privacy policy and terms. We do not store full payment card numbers ourselves. We encourage you to review Mindbody's privacy policy.
How We Share Information
We share personal information only as needed to run our business, for example:
With service providers that help us operate, such as Mindbody (booking and payments), Squarespace (website hosting), and our text messaging provider (to deliver appointment texts). These providers may use your information only to provide their services to us.
When required by law, to respond to legal process, or to protect the safety of you, us, or others.
We do not share your health intake information except as described above or as required by law.
Cookies and Analytics
Our website is hosted on Squarespace. Squarespace uses cookies and similar technologies to make the site work, remember preferences, and provide us with basic analytics, such as page views and general visitor location. Data Retention
We keep your information for as long as needed to provide services, keep business and tax records, and meet legal obligations. Client records and intake forms are kept for 7 years after your last visit, then securely deleted or destroyed. If you opt out of text messages, we stop sending texts but may keep a record of your opt-out so we can honor it.
Security
We take reasonable steps to protect your information, such as limiting access to client records to Mark De Castro and using password-protected accounts with our service providers. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your Choices
Text messages: Reply STOP to any appointment text to opt out. Reply START to opt back in.
Access and corrections: You can ask to see or correct the personal information we hold about you.
Deletion: You can ask us to delete your information, subject to records we must keep by law.

Children's Privacy
Our website is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through the website. We do not provide services to clients under 18 unless a parent or legal guardian books the appointment and gives consent on their behalf.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will post the updated version on this page and change the effective date above.
