DC Recovery Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") apply to your use of www.dc-recovery.com, booking sessions with DC Recovery, and our appointment text messages. DC Recovery is a sole proprietorship owned and operated by Mark De Castro, with a private home studio at 10123 Eddystone Dr, Houston, TX 77043. By using our website, booking a session, or opting in to our texts, you agree to these Terms.

SMS / Text Messaging Terms

Program name: DC Recovery Appointment Texts

Description: When you book a session and provide your mobile number, you can choose to receive text messages from DC Recovery at +1 (832) 742-6492. These texts include appointment confirmations, day-before reminders, and replies to your questions about your appointments. We do not send marketing or promotional texts.

How you opt in: You opt in by providing your mobile number and agreeing to receive appointment texts when you book online through Mindbody or directly with Mark by phone, text, or in person. Agreeing to receive texts is not a condition of booking or purchasing a session.

Message frequency: Message frequency varies, about 1 to 4 messages per appointment.

Cost: Message and data rates may apply. Check with your mobile carrier for details about your plan.

Help: Reply HELP to any message for help, or email mark@dc-recovery.com. You will receive this reply: "DC Recovery appointment texts. For help, reply to this message or email mark@dc-recovery.com. Msg frequency varies. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out."

Opt out: You can cancel at any time. Reply STOP to any message to opt out. You can also reply STOPALL, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END, or QUIT. After you opt out, you will receive one final message confirming your request: "DC Recovery: You have been unsubscribed and will no longer receive appointment texts. Reply START to resubscribe." After that, you will not receive further texts from us unless you opt in again.

Opt back in: Reply START, YES, or UNSTOP to resubscribe. You will receive this confirmation: "DC Recovery: You are subscribed to appointment confirmation and reminder texts. Msg frequency varies. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help, STOP to opt out."

Carrier disclaimer: Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Your number: If you change or give up your mobile number, please reply STOP or let us know so we do not text the new owner of that number.

Privacy: Your mobile information is handled as described in our Privacy Policy at https://www.dc-recovery.com/privacy-policy. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.

Bookings

Sessions can be booked online through Mindbody or directly with Mark. Online bookings are also subject to Mindbody's terms. Because DC Recovery is a private home studio, the exact arrival and parking instructions are sent with your appointment confirmation. Please arrive on time. If you arrive late, your session may be shortened to keep the next appointment on schedule, and the full session price may still apply.

Cancellations and No-Shows

Please give at least 24 hours' notice to cancel or reschedule. Late cancellations and no-shows may be charged 50% of the session price. Payment is due at the time of your session. Packages and prepaid sessions are non-refundable.

Health Information and Assumption of Risk

Massage and recovery bodywork are intended to support relaxation, recovery, and general well-being. They are not a substitute for medical diagnosis or treatment, and DC Recovery does not diagnose conditions or prescribe medication. Please give accurate and complete health information on your intake form and tell Mark about any changes, injuries, or conditions before each session. Check with your doctor before booking if you are pregnant, have a medical condition, or are recovering from an injury or surgery. Bodywork can sometimes cause temporary soreness or discomfort. Tell Mark right away if you feel pain or discomfort during a session so pressure or technique can be adjusted, or the session stopped. By booking, you understand these risks and agree to participate voluntarily.

Professional Conduct

DC Recovery provides professional, therapeutic services only. Mark may end a session immediately, without refund, if a client behaves inappropriately or makes the session unsafe.

Website Use

The content on this website is for general information only. You may not copy or reuse site content for commercial purposes without permission.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, DC Recovery and Mark De Castro are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the website, our text messages, or our services. Our total liability for any claim related to a session will not exceed the amount you paid for that session. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under Texas law.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict of law rules. Any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Harris County, Texas.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page and change the effective date above.
